Biblical Husband & Wife Study
We are excited to begin a Biblical Husband and Wife Study in the new year at St. John Lutheran Church in Luxemburg. This study has deeply impacted our own marriage, and we are eager to walk through it with others.
Women’s Group: The Excellent Wife
- Starts: Wednesday, January 7, 6:30 PM
- Meets weekly on Wednesdays
- This book is a scripturally based blueprint for women who want to be excellent wives, based on Proverbs 31:10, with thousands of women already testifying to lives and marriages changed by its principles.
Men’s Group: The Exemplary Husband
- Starts: Tuesday, January 6, 6:30 PM
- Meets bi-weekly on Tuesdays (covering two chapters per meeting)
- The book is a guide for husbands on embodying Christ-like sacrificial love, promoting oneness in marriage for God's glory.
Each session will last about 1 hour, and the study runs for 21 weeks (ending in late May). Couples are encouraged to participate together, but it is not required. Engaged couples are welcome as well!
This study explores what Scripture teaches about being a biblical wife or husband. You will complete weekly questions on your own and read the assigned chapters, and we will discuss them during meetings. In-person attendance is highly encouraged, but a virtual option will be available if needed.
