Family and Youth Greeters Needed: Being greeted when you enter a place indicates that you are welcomed and valued. We wouldn’t think of allowing guests to enter our homes without a warm welcome. Why should our church be any different? We are currently in need of families and/or youth to warmly welcome those who enter our doors. Middle & High School Lock-In – February 20 We’re planning an overnight Lock-In for middle school and high school students on Friday, February 20, from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. This will be a full night of fun! Invite your friends! Adult volunteers needed. Sign up in the church narthex.
Feb. 22nd – Youth Worship Service (MS/HS) St. John Lutheran Church, Luxemburg. This service is for 6th – 12th grades. It will take place on the last Sunday evening of each month, starting Feb. 22, 2026. Start time TBD (Likely 6:15pm or 7pm) Parents are invited to stay for fellowship with other parents while their kids are in the worship service. (approx.45-to-50-minute service.)
Starting March 1st, Sunday Evening Youth Archery for youth in 4th - 12th grade Any skill level welcome as we will train you and supply the equipment. Each session will start with a short devotion tied into archery. There is a $30 fee for the 7-week league to help maintain and purchase equipment as needed. If you have 2 youths from your family participating, the fee is $50 total for the 7-week league, and if more than 2 youth participating from the same family, the fee is a total of $60 for the family for the 7-week league. If youth would like to participate, but the fee is prohibitive, please speak to pastor Craig in private as scholarships are available.
Youth Archery meets on Sunday evenings from 6:00–8:00 PM. Session dates are: March 1, March 8, March 15, March 22, April 12, April 19, and May 3 (final session with a potluck and extra archery fun). Please note: ~ No archery on March 29 due to Youth Worship Service Night ~ No archery on April 5 (Easter) ~ No archery on April 25 due to Youth Worship Service.
